The most likely explanation for this is that the mobile phone operator is detecting it has been spoofed. Whilst very rare, this is unfortunately becoming more and more common in some countries such as the USA.

The results of this will vary depending on what network you are sending the message to. We'd recommend giving it a go with a couple of other numbers and we would of course be happy to replace any credits that do not appear as the number you specified.
